For those who value cosmetics that deliver results rather than promises, the verdict this year was placed firmly in professional hands. We are especially proud that, after rigorous efficacy testing, NiKEL received the prestigious title of The Best Croatian Brand. This award confirms that its benefits are recognised by medical specialists, even in exceptionally strong competition.
The most reputable dermatologists, nutritionists and aesthetic surgeons gathered once again for Estetica Premium Product 2025, the only Croatian beauty competition where winners are selected exclusively by experts.
WORD FROM THE DERMATOLOGISTS
Jolanda Kanižaj Rajković, MD, Specialist in Dermatovenerology
NiKEL – WINNER – “The passion of Mirjana Brlečić, MPharm, for her products is evident in every formula, in the branding and on the website. I value the personal approach, professionalism and accessibility, all of which are reflected in the effectiveness of the products themselves. I also appreciate that each product on the website is paired with complementary care suggestions. In addition to being produced in Croatia, NiKEL uses plants from our region – rose, daisy, immortelle – which, in my opinion, makes it the leading Croatian brand.”
Nevia Delalle, MD, Specialist in Dermatology and Venereology
THE BEST CROATIAN PRODUCTS – NiKEL – “A constant pursuit of perfectly effective ingredients. Research into their composition and efficacy is Mirjana Brlečić’s mission. NiKEL was created from the desire to develop natural skincare that combines pharmaceutical expertise with the healing herbs of the Croatian Mediterranean, without unnecessary additives or preservatives. The brand maintains consistent quality, follows the latest trends and continually introduces something new and surprising. Since 2004, NiKEL has been the most awarded Croatian cosmetic brand, with more than 50 gold medals from innovation competitions across Europe, Asia and America.”
Jelena Jakić, MD, Specialist in Dermatology and Venereology
THE BEST CROATIAN PRODUCT – “NiKEL stands out for its cosmetic laboratory and strong pharmaceutical foundation. The focus is on innovative formulas, often featuring patented plant extracts. The products are typically positioned in a higher price range as dermocosmetics designed to address specific skin concerns. NiKEL is particularly recognised for its facial oils, serums and targeted treatments. It is an excellent choice for those seeking high-quality, scientifically supported natural cosmetics to help manage specific skin issues.”
User experiences
My son uses witch hazel cleansing gel, lavender tonic, evening primrose oil and tea tree cream, the improvement was obvious after only 3 days, and after 7 days there are no more inflammatory processes on the face. We are thrilled. He usually has a light complexion, prone to freckles when in the sun, superficially dry skin, and a T zone prone to inflammation. The complexion evened out and the skin calmed.
It is great !! In just a few applications, the witch hazel cleansing gel, lavender tonic and tea tree cream worked wonders on my otherwise problematic face irritated and inflamed by the sun and heat after returning from the sea. I will continue to use base products. I have rosacea and can’t wait to try the parsley cream!
The cream is great. I also have a gel that really helped me. I had small warts on my nose and on my hands and since I started using nickel washing gel all the warts have receded and have not come back again.
I have been struggling with facial care for years and this product has finally helped me.
Just started to use and I am already satisfied!
When I stop using evening primrose cream and oil, I start to get pimples. This products keep my skin under control!
